Chuck Norris DVD "The Warrior Within" Hits Major Retailers.

Tampa, FL (PRWEB) December 25, 2003 - Nothing has gained more popularity faster the last few years than Martial Arts. You can see it by the mass appeal of movies such as The Matrix and The Last Samurai. The film "The Warrior Within" seeks to unlock the mystery of this art. It will show you why learning self defense is essential and may one day save your life and the life of your loved ones.

"The Warrior Within" is a movie about Martial Arts; about their beauty and their lethal potential, their history and their present status. It is also about their place in a modern society whose escalating crime rate and violence is making the knowledge of self-defense a necessity for more and more ordinary people, especially women. Fifteen top practitioners of Jeet Kune Do, Karate, Kung Fu, Jujitsu, Kendo, Tai Chi Chuan and Clasical Oriental Weaponry pay tribute to the martial arts master of all time, Bruce Lee.

Executive Producer Manuel Ortiz Braschi, President of Unique Enterprises, a production and distribution company, said that "The Warrior Within" was made with the purpose of educating the general public to what the Martial Arts are all about. "Our exclusive film will enlighten, empower and inspire you." It is guaranteed to be a real eye opener into the World of Martial Arts. Viewers will see and understand why millions of people around the world are learning these arts and taking it very seriously. They will learn how it is an intelligent solution, not only for protection but also for self-confidence and peace of mind.

"The Warrior Within" received the highest honor a documentary film could be awarded, when the "Las Americas Film Festival" presented Manuel Ortiz Braschi with the "Gold Medal Special Jury Award," given to films of unusual merit, for its content, beautiful slow motion sequences, superb technical credits and good commentary. Martial Arts fans will have the opportunity to see many of their favorite masters in action. The cast list reads like a "Who's Who in the Martial Arts." Each is a highly ranked representative of their style and art. In addition to exhibiting their deadly skills, the masters talk honestly about themselves and about their mystical, spiritual and philosophic thoughts on the ancient art of self-defense.

"In Action, The Masters Highlighted In "The Warrior Within" Are Terrific!" Los Angeles Times.

"The Warrior Within" is one of the very few documentaries ever released in theaters across major cities in the United States and other countries. It has received great reviews from film critics, newspapers & magazines and is considered by many to be a classic. Due to a high demand for these type of films, "Warrior Within" is now being distributed by Alliance Entertainment and other major distributors. It is currently being sold at major national retailers such as: Blockbuster, Best Buy, Target, Barnes and Noble, Borders, Waldenbooks, Movie Gallery, Virgin Mega, FYE, Wherehouse, Amazon and many others. Unique Enterprises is now making arrangements to market this unique film in the T.V., Cable, and Educational markets as well. Visit the official Warrior Within website for more information.

Orlando Florida Guide Reader Comments about 'The Warrior Within':

"This movie is really an undiscovered gem of filmaking, for martial arts students of all ages as well as for the rest of us would-be martial arts students. The director illustrates with exquisite detail the beauty, spirituality and aesthetic appeal underlying the principal styles of martial arts. He uses slow-motion effect to capture the intensity and rapidity of martial arts movements. It is through these artfully timed and filmed action sequences that we see the strength of the characters as well. His usage of pastel colors juxtaposed with black helps emphasize the feelings and attitudes of the characters. The stylistic elements combined with monologue by each of the martial arts practitioners featured in the film is somewhat unusual in this genre of filmaking. I watched the film several times, and got something out of it each time. The movie is certainly enjoyable, but it is also highly educational. This is definitely a movie you should not miss."
