CITY, Calif., Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Containing over four hours of high-energy
entertainment on DVD, The Rundown is filled with pulse-pounding action
as only The Rock can deliver. Seann William Scott (American Wedding, Bulletproof
Monk), Rosario Dawson (25th Hour, Men In Black II), and Christopher Walken
(Catch Me If You Can) co-star in this cinematic thrill ride, set in the
Amazon and starring The Rock as a bounty hunter in search of the son (Scott)
of an underworld kingpin. Rolling out on DVD and VHS on March 23, 2004,
the DVD is priced at $26.98 SRP and the VHS carries a price of $22.98
SRP. Pre-order close dates are February 10 for DVD and February 24 for
VHS.
The Rock Rocks On With Action-Packed DVD
The Rundown DVD includes not-to-be missed bonus features including some
great deleted scenes showcasing Seann William Scott's high-adrenaline
fight scenes and "Rumble in the Jungle," a featurette which
reveals the choreographed magic behind The Rundown's awesome stunts and
fight scenes. The film's amazing explosions and special visual effects
are presented in "Appetite for Destruction," which shows how
the effects were created. "The Amazon, Hawaii Style" invites
viewers to join the cast and filmmakers for an insider's look into the
film's tropical location shoots. There are two commentaries including
one with The Rock and for the DVD treasure hunters eager for a challenge,
over 20 "Easter eggs" containing tidbits of Rundown factoids
that become increasingly difficult to unearth. Even the passionate Camilla
the baboon is showcased in a hilarious featurette about her relationship
with The Rock!

Consumers will run to retailers when they learn about the free DVD offer
surrounding The Rundown. Viewers can get one free DVD by mail from a select
list of Universal Studios Home Video titles by purchasing any two from
a list of four eligible Universal Studios Home Video DVDs including The
Rundown, Beyond the Mat Ringside Special Edition, Honey and The Skulls
III and an exciting new title to be announced. Full information will be

Synopsis
The Rock teams up with Seann William Scott for a wild, non-stop action-adventure.
Beck (The Rock) is a bounty hunter sent into the treacherous jungles of
the Amazon to bring the rebellious Travis (Seann William Scott) back to
the States. When Beck and Travis reluctantly join forces to hunt down
a priceless treasure this unlikely team embarks on a pulse-pounding adventure
thrill-ride that delivers a non-stop action and unbelievable fight scenes.
