GOB - at Hardrock Live Orlando, FLJuly 19, 2003 Gob, the Canadian punk rockers hit town tonight and played an impressive set at Hard Rock Live. After spending a good part of the afternoon with Theo and Tom, I knew how entertaining they can be. The highlight of the show was when Tom hopped on on Theo's shoulders and started walking around the stage with both of them blazing away on their guitars. Song after song they kept the crowd entertained with their antics and remarkable stage presence, Tom and Theo kidded around with the crowd and had an all around great time performing. Another
memorable moment was a breath-taking version of the old Rolling Stones
classic, "Paint It Black." Gabe's drumming was first rate and
Craig's bass playing as well as Tom and Theo on the guitar. So, if your looking to be entertained and see a great concert, Gob is a band you want to see live. Who knows? Maybe Theo will let you hop up on his shoulders. Review by Michael Montes - Orlando Florida Guide - All Rights Reserved. Readers Reviews I
recently went to Avril Lavigne's Sydney, Australia concert at the Sydney
Entertainment Center (coz i live in Oz) and although, her performance
was fantastic, the supporting bands GOB and one i didnt catch the name
of (i think space into alice???) far exceded Avril. they, especially GOB,
were full of energy and more recieving of the audience. They waved at
me and my firned when we called out to them before they went on stage.
