Modern English with The Jeff Coffey Band
at House of Blues - Orlando, FL

June 30, 2003

Time and time again we go to House of Blues and time and time again we leave in amazement on how they are able to book such talented acts. Tonight was no different as House of Blues mixed in one of Orlando's best bands The Jeff Coffey Band with 80's Icon Modern English and the mixture meshed perfectly.

Modern English took the stage and fans enjoyed a mixture of old songs with new songs including the band's most famous song from the 1980s "I melt with you." Anyone who grew up listening to music in the 80s will remember that song as one of the songs that helped define that era of music. Two decades later these British Rockers still have what it takes to put on a great show.

The Jeff Coffey Band treated fans to an outstanding set of rock and roll highlighted by their single "Pop goes the world" This is my first time covering this Orlando band and I can tell you it's not going to be my last. They really impressed me especially when lead guitarist Sean Ghannam pulled out a 12 string Guitar and played it to perfection.

House of Blues is one of the best places in Orlando to see a concert. Located in the heart of Downtown Disney there is plenty to do for adults and kids and don't forget House of Blues has a first rate restaurant.
