Staind with Sevendust and Lo Proat USF Sun Dome Tampa, FLOctober 11, 2003 Staind - Started the show off with "Open Your Eyes" from their "Break The Cycle" album and a couple of songs later kicked up the intensity a couple of notches with a wonderful version of "Price To Play." Then they went right into "Fade" one of the better songs from their "Break The Cycle" album. As I looked around I could see many people singing the words from the song. No doubt this is one of the more popular songs for Staind fans. The show really hit it's stride with an out of this world rendition of "So Far Away" From their "14 Shades of Grey" album. Aaron Lewis' gritty vocals never sounded better and if you think this song sounds great on the CD you won't get to appreciate it until you hear it live. It will send shivers of excitement up and down your spine and leave the hairs on your arms standing up. Other highlights of the show were first rate versions of "It's Been Awhile" and "Suffocate" Staind ended the show with a bang playing "Mudshovel" from their "Dysfunction" album. All in all fans got exactly what they wanted a night of great music from one of the more underrated bands in music today. Sevendust hit the stage and immediately the temperature of the USF Sundome shot up several degrees after they opened their set with a white hot version of "Black" from their self titled "Sevendust" CD. You think this song sounds great on the album wait until you hear it live. It will send your head spinning into the clouds. Other highlights were heart thumping versions of "Angel's Son" and "Denial". Sevendust closed their set with breath taking versions of their new single "Enemy" (which I am sure is going to be a hit for the band) and "Bitch" from their "Sevendust" CD. This was my first Sevendust show and I can tell you it's not going to be my last. These guys really know how to rock! Lo Pro played an enjoyable set that had the crowd wishing their set went on for couple of hours. This is the second time I've seen this up and coming band perform this year and it would not surprise me to see them headling a tour of their own in the near future. By
