"First of all, Thrice kicks ass. Secondly, I hadn't been a Thrice fan or even heard anything about them up until hearing them first on their new release 'The Artist In The Ambulance'. The record grabbed me and just would not let go. And for that reason, I'm a fan forever.

From the first track 'Cold Cash and Colder Hearts' to the last track "Eclipse," I rocked out through the hard beginning to the ferocious end. Songs like 'Paper Tigers' really get me going and the lyrics are incredible. The use of mythological stories like in 'The Melting Point of Wax' is an awesome concept for punk metal.

After hearing Thrice's 'Illusion of Safety' album, I had no idea the band could top or even equal the power of it.

But they did with The Artist In The Ambulance, and even after mind blowing songs like 'Deadbolt' and 'To Awake and Avenge the Dead', the new album serves to catapult Thrice into the minds and hearts of their fans. Being just one of the endless number of that fan-base, I share something really awesome with anyone who listens to and lives Thrice."
