TVT RECORDS RELEASES CRUNK CLASSICS FOR THE SUMMER

If you ask most outsiders about the origins of Crunk, they usually point to Atlanta, thanks to the pioneering efforts of artists like Lil Jon and DJ Smurf. Close, but no dice. Crunk really started down at the bottom.

TVT Records will release the compilation, CRUNK CLASSICS mid-Summer 2004.

The disc is a collection of cornerstone Crunk anthems from those pioneers south of the Mason-Dixie line - Three Six Mafia, Too Short, Iconz, UGK,
Drama to name a few.

CRUNK CLASSICS is the definitive collection for anyone whom has come to love the irresistibly unfettered and exuberant body-slamming tracks topped with
chant-heavy vocals, all designed to get listeners to move beyond their deepest inhibitions.
