Jive Recording Artist Eamon's Debut Single 'F**k It (I Don't Want You Back)' Is the #1 Selling Single in the Country for 2 Weeks in a Row

NEW YORK, Jan. 8, 2004 (PRNewswire) - Jive Recording Artist Eamon's first single, entitled "F**k It (I Don't Want You Back)" is the #1 single in the country for two weeks in a row, according the Billboard's Hot 100 Singles Sales Chart. The song is also #39 and the greatest gainer on Billboard's Hot 100 Chart. In addition to the sales success, Eamon is enjoying heavy radio airplay in 100 markets, and #1 in several top markets including New York, Philadelphia, Detroit, Boston, Raleigh, Minneapolis and Hartford. The single is also #1 on Carson Daly's radio countdown.

The song's unique lyrics have propelled it to become a 21st century anthem for the broken hearted.

Eamon, a 20 year-old singer/songwriter from Staten Island, New York, has been on stage since he was 9, performing in front of large audiences, including at the world famous Madison Square Garden. When he was 15, he met writer/producer Milk Dee of "Top Billin'" fame, whose credits include projects with MC Lyte, Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige, Jason Downs (UK), Ad Rock (Beastie Boys) and Sinead O'Connor. Milk Dee and Eamon immediately started working together on his Jive debut album along with co-producers Mark Passy and Yared Williams of the 1st Priority Music Group, NYC.

Eamon's unique artistry has driven "F**k It (I Don't Want You Back)" to bona-fide hit single status. Eamon's debut album is scheduled for release on February 17, 2004.
