50 CENT, SEAN PAUL, BUSTA RHYMES AMONG HOT LINE-UP AT BET'S SPRING BLING 2003 IN DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA

Concerts, Contests and More to be Held at the Ocean Front Band Shell March 28 - 30

BET's SPRING BLING 2003 is certain to blow the sand off the beach with its whirlwind of hip-hop performances from some of the biggest names in the music industry. Episodes of Rip the Runway (fashion shows highlighting the best in beachwear accompanied by live performances); Step Off (college step show competition with celebrity judges); Beach Towel Throwdown (BET's livest hip-hop concerts); and Freestyle (rap competition with celebrity judges) will be taped March 28 - 30 to air on the BET network in April. The concert series will also include contests and gift giveaways for participants.

Rap-It-Up, BET's award-winning HIV/AIDS public awareness campaign, will also be represented in Daytona and will disseminate important information about HIV/AIDS prevention. Partnering with Daytona's Volusia County Health Department, Rap-It-Up representatives will distribute safe sex information packs, t-shirts and giveaways from the Black College Reunion Welcome Center on March 29 - 30.
