NEW YORK, Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ - Now that "The Apprentice" contestants have tackled the basics of lemonade sales, in episode two Donald Trump sends them to Madison Avenue, the heart of the advertising industry. The men's and women's teams are sent to the multi-billion dollar advertising agency Deutsch Inc. where Donald Trump introduces them to advertising icon Donny Deutsch. Their task -- to create a 30 second television commercial and a print ad campaign showcasing the Marquis Jet Card, a jet card that provides access to the NetJets fleet. The twist -- they have two days to do it. At the end of the task, each team must present their ideas to Donny Deutsch and his creative team. The winning team will have a lavish reward provided by Marquis Jet and NetJets and the losing team faces Trump in the climactic boardroom showdown. "I'm thrilled that Donald Trump and Mark Burnett chose to showcase Deutsch Inc in the second episode of 'The Apprentice'," said Donny Deutsch, Chairman and CEO of Deutsch Inc. "Utilizing all of our resources, each team delivered dynamic integrated campaigns and presentations that were drastically different but equally impressive. I was impressed with the charisma and smarts of the contestants, their tenacity and sheer desire to win was evident, making it an incredibly tense program." "We're delighted to have been selected by Mark Burnett and his team to be part of what is certainly one of the most unique reality programs on television," said Marquis Jet CEO Bill Allard. "Participating with the contestants as they worked on the ad campaigns for The Marquis Jet Card was rewarding as well as highly enjoyable. We're happy that Marquis Jet's innovative business model and creativity in the most exciting consumer space; private aviation, was able to provide for an entertaining program." "When the producers approached Marquis Jet, we were particularly excited to brainstorm and create this concept with them," said Ken Austin, Marquis Jet Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer.
