Spike TV Acquires Rights to SI's Swimsuit Special Library To Air Throughout February
NEW YORK, Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ - The Big 4-0 never looked so good, as Sports Illustrated celebrates its Swimsuit Issue's 40th anniversary in a one-hour special premiering on Spike TV, Wednesday, Feb. 11 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT). Join SI Swimsuit model Melissa Keller and comedian Jake Johannsen as they lead a tour of some of the most beautiful locations across the U.S. and provide a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the 40th edition of SI's most popular issue.
Some of the models featured in "Sports Illustrated's 40th Anniversary Swimsuit Special" include Marissa Miller, Bridget Hall and last year's SI cover model Petra Nemcova. This year's edition includes several special sections which showcase the world's most beautiful women. Find out which other models grace this year's issue and who was chosen as the prestigious cover model.
With Spike TV's recent acquisition of SI's Swimsuit Special library, which includes past specials from 1995 to the present, the network celebrates all things "bikini" during the month of February beginning with "Bikini Bowl" on Super Bowl Sunday and ending with a President's Day marathon fit for a Commander in Chief.
