NBA City at CityWalk, Orlando FACT SHEET The National
Basketball Association and Hard Rock Cafe have formed a global alliance
to create NBA restaurant concepts throughout the world. The first NBA
City, opening in the summer of 1999 at Universal Studios Escape in Orlando,
marks the creation of Hard Rock's first new restaurant brand in its 28-year
history and the NBA's first entry into the Entrance Locations: Lagoon Front Sq. Footage: 17,000 sq. ft. Seating Capacity: 375 (private party rooms available) Levels: 2 Architecture: NBA City's traditional architecture, weathered bricks, and wood and leather finishes will evoke the classic arenas of the 1940's and 50's, and will provide a warm and comfortable dining experience. The venue will include: the CityWalk Cage, an 8,000 sq. ft. dining area featuring exclusive programming telling the great stories - the rivalries, performances and personalities - of the NBA and WNBA; the NBA City Playground, a 2,100 sq.ft. interactive area featuring custom developed games and attractions; and the NBA City Club, where guests can watch live and classic games in an upscale lounge environment.
